The APAY Green Team is working towards making this assembly a climate-friendly assembly. We are paying utmost care and attention to create less carbon emissions as possible during the assembly, to reduce our carbon footprints. 

 

We aim to use less papers and plastics during the Assembly. All program information and other related information will be hosted on a website on real-time during the Assembly. The keynote address, agenda, and documents related to meetings, workshop documents, program rundowns, liturgies of the worships, biblical reflections, etc. will be available on the website, so please bring your laptops, tabs or smartphones. No printed hard copies of these documents will be available during the assembly. No assembly materials like notebooks, pens, worship books, workbooks, etc. will be provided. Please bring your own notebooks and pens.

 

All cutleries, cups, and glasses will be re-useable, no paper or plastic cups will be used at the Assembly.  Please bring your own water bottles, water refilling facilities will be available at different points of the assembly. A small bag could be brought for your own convenience. Moderate temperatures will be maintained at all venues to save energy. Mostly local food will be served at meals.  

 

The green fee payable along with registration fee will be used only for carbon emission offsetting purposes. 

 

All these measures have helped us to bring down the cost of the Assembly and also be environment-friendly.
